Do you need Medical Cover at your event?

The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Training Agency (PHECTA) provides first aid and ambulance cover for small, medium and large scale events across the country each year. Our experienced team of staff will ensure that your cover meets the requirements of national recommendations and standards.

Our staff consist of Advanced Paramedic Practitioners who are autonomous in their practice, Registered Paramedics, Registered Nurses, Registered Physiotherapists, Ambulance technicians and First Aiders, trained in advanced first aid, ambulance and lifesaving skills. Our staff attend numerous events each year, providing essential support on location, at first aid / medical rooms or en-route to hospital.

How do I arrange Medical Cover?

For advice and further information about PHECTA providing medical cover at your event, please telephone us at 07736 743956 and speak to Anne who will take your details. e-mail us at faw@phecta.com stating Event Cover in your heading.

You will be asked to provide detailed information about your event.
A resource assessment will then be carried out and a quotation provided.

Once we have received your information we will carry out a risk assessment and quote you for the level of cover we recommend.

The more notice you can give us, the more likely it is that we will be able to provide cover for your event. Large events often need planning well in advance.

Hire our 4X4 Ambulance for your event

We are able to offer our 4x4 vehicles which is able to transport patients on the orthopaedic stretcher, together with a Paramedic, their equipment and drugs

We can provide this for £400.00 dependant on the location (due to travel costs, distant events will have to be charged to cover additional fuel costs.

We can also provide:

Emergency ambulance with paramedic or technician crew
4x4 response vehicle
Equipment trailer
Tented medical post that can be set up in rural locations
